Tickets sales at the University of New Mexico Arena
("the Pit") begin Thursday April 23rd from 10am to 3pm. Tickets will go on sale again Friday April 24th starting at 10am and all throughout the event. Tickets are subject to availability and are sold on a first come, first served basis.

General Ticket Information: ALL ticket sales are monitored and regulated by the University of New Mexico. They do not allow us ANY discounted tickets except for returning dancers* and K-12 school groups on Friday; only infants 1 and under are allowed free, and ONLY 2 day passes are allowed in and out privileges. These are requirements imposed on us and we ask for your understanding. A limited number of 2 day passes are available,
dancers and drum groups will be accommodated
at Dancer Registration. Single day tickets are
only limited by arena capacity. *Discount coupons were already sent for returning dancers and singers and are good at Registration only.

Admission is tax deductible - $1 of
admission goes to GON-UNM Scholarship
Foundation & $.50 to UNM Facility fee. The Gathering of Nations is a self-funded non-profit organization that receives NO federal funds and little to NO corporate support. The majority of funding for the event, our academic scholarships, and our Native community aid is from annual ticket sales. Surplus funds from the proceeds of the event, the Gathering of Nations gives back directly to the Native community. (For more details, please click here.) Ticket proceeds benefit: Head Staff and Invited Drums, Renting the Arena, Dance & Drum Competition, Hiring hundreds of staff & security, Tents & Multimedia rental, Utilities & Facility expenses, G.O.N. Are there discounts for Seniors or Children?
No. Only children 1 and
under are admitted free. All ticket sales are monitored
and regulated by the UNM Arena and other government
agencies due to capacity and safety regulations. We are
monitored by the space utilized and not the age of
attendee. These are restrictions imposed on us and we
ask for your understanding.
Parking. Is there a charge? Is there handicapped
parking?
Parking is regulated by the UNM Arena. Free parking is
available however some lots may charge a parking fee.
Handicapped parking is located in the front of the arena
near the main entrance. A parking attendant may be on
site to assist with special needs parking.
A single day Friday or Saturday ticket does not allow
re-entry. Why? Can I go to Powwow Alley, Stage 49,
and the Indian Trader's Market Tent? All ticket sales
are monitored and regulated by the UNM Arena and other
government agencies due to capacity and safety
regulations. We are monitored by the space utilized. To
ensure capacity restrictions and other requirements,
once a person leaves the arena to go outside, re-entry
is not allowed unless another ticket is purchased at the
main ticket window. These are restrictions imposed
on us and we ask for your understanding. Yes, once
inside, you may go anywhere in the Arena, Powwow Alley,
Indian Trader's Market tent, and Stage 49 are all
included with admission.
Where do I
get school group tickets? The special K-12 school
rate of $7 per person is only available on Friday April
25th at the main ticket window. Purchase orders are
accepted at the main ticket window at that time only.
